A Real Live Ninja!
Yeah, a real live ninja! Living and breathing like everyone else! Well, not everyone else, if we all lived and breathed like him, then he wouldn't be anything special and no one would ever get anything done, we'd be too busy jumping off stuff and doing cool flips and things. There'd be no food, no new building, no money, no tv, no computer games. Phew, it's a good job we're not all like him isn't it?
Check out the footage here!

House Stress
I know people say buying a house is stressful, but I think that mainly comes from people trying to screw you over all the time.
Viv had been in a bit of a flid the last few days, as we've just found out we have to pay Stamp Duty. Now I know this is also normal, however when we first agreed to buy this place and put down a deposit, the first letter we received from our solicitor told us we wouldn't have to pay this. That was because we were in a 'Disadvantaged Area'. Well it turns out that was bollocks, and we do have to pay it after all.
So suddenly we have to come with £1300 and we can't back out of buying the house now as we have already exchanged contracts, meaning we now legally HAVE to buy the house.
So you can see where the stress is coming from.
Needless to say we are having words with our solicitors about this, although we're probably gonna have to get the money from somewhere.
I'm sure it'll all work out though...

I am Evil
It's official, I'm Pure Evil!
How evil are you?
This has only served to confirm my suspicions, the true extent of my evilness will be revealed over the coming weeks as my plans come to fruition...
Ooops, I've said too much!

Illness sucks
Yeah, I've been ill since last Tuesday. I got a bit of a cold on Monday, which turned into a full blown daddy cold on Tuesday. So I got to stay at home and watch crap on the TV while everyone else had to go to work. I was feeling better by Thursday, but stayed off work as I was still feeling rough in the mornings. I didn't drink on Friday, leading to one of the weirdest nights I've had in a while. Then I drank on Saturday night.
Today I was feeling a little bad, but I reckon it's probably just because I can't be arsed to go to work again. But here I am. Well now I'm catching up on emails and my reading, forums, blogs and suchlike. I still don't have much work to do though, guess that's a reason not to feel too guilty about missing work :)

False Alarm
Yep, that's right. It seems I've been hit by a bunch of fees I had no idea we were supposed to be paying. In fact up to this point we didn't even know they existed! I'm sure they're making this up, I mean, why should we be paying the seller's solicitor's fees? They're nothing to do with us, if they want to sell the fucking place, they can damn well pay their end of it.
A few other things have 'gone missing' from our contracts, or have been 'forgotten', so Viv is phoning them up to find stuff out.
Update: As I was writing this I got a phone call from Viv and it turns out most of what we were worrying about has in fact been sorted. We now have a much cheaper mortgage and our repayments are about £50 less per month! Hello Sky TV! :)
On a better note check this out, Best. Game. Ever. Zombies Vs Ambulances
Plus I just told Viv Metallica were playing at Download Festival this year and she nearly wet herself, had a stroke and collapsed, but instead only wet herself a little.

What Would *Insert chosen Gods name here* Have Done?
I found This articleposted on the LSN Forums, as people had been discussing the recent muslim reactions to those Dannish Cartoons. Personally I don't see the problem, it's not like other religions don't regularly get the piss taken out of them.
But the article provides an interesting muslim viewpoint on the incident, both on the cartoons and the reaction to them. It's well worth a read, even if it is just to reassure yourself that not all muslims are going to try and kill someone.
Ricky Gervais Podcast
I've only just started listening to this, despite being told weeks ago by my FHM email that it was on. Now unfortunately, they are up to episode 10 of 12, and are only hosting back to episode 7. So I can't get the first 6 episodes anymore!
If your interested you can find the episodes here
Ricky Gervais is brilliant, I prefer his stand up to his TV shows, like The Office and Extras. His stand up is much better, and is more like his podcasts. Although the main star of the show is Ricky's mate Karl Pilkington. This bloke is bizarre, he's kind of 'simple', is a nice way of putting it. And basically during the show Ricky and his mate Stephen take the piss out of Karl. It's kind of cruel, but it's fantastic!

Are you a man?
Well, are you? Not just a man, but a really manly man, a man with so much manlyness he sweats nails, eats power tools and shaves using a bolt cutter.
The link above is to a post from the Albino Blacksheep forums, not only is Albino Blacksheep brilliant, but the forums are also hilarious and filled with rather intelligent and witty people, as well as complete nutters, lunatics and twats. But isnt that what every forum has?

Four Things
After looking at a few other blogs I've seen a few of them doing this, it's not the normal crap questionnaire, so I thought I'd do my own:
Four Jobs I've had:
1. My first job was working at Moat House in York, that was ok, I was there for a few years working in the holidays while I was at boarding school. I started a few days before my 16 birthday, shh, don't tell anyone!
2. Packing toys. Me and a friend got a job packing toys for a guy in Canada while we were there, it was in his basement, at a really nice house on the side of a mountain, getting there was fun as we were always scared of bears.
3. Gas Station Attendant/A&W Cook, this was also in Canada, probably the best job I ever had. The midnight shift in an Esso garage, I never had to do anything, and ran up big phone bills calling Viv in England. I still feel guilty about that... I also worked in the attached A&W, cooking burgers and whatever on the grill, I loved that.
4. Working at a cafe in the National Railway Museum in York. A bit of crap job, clearing tables and waiting, but the museum was nice and the pay was better than the Moat House.
Four Movies I could watch forever
1. The Usual Suspects - I've already seen this film too many times, but I could watch it again and again, it's amazing.
2. High Fidelity - Once again I've proved I could watch this forever by watching it too many times.
3. White men can't jump - I've already gone through 3 copies of this film, I finally bought a DVD version.
4. Fight Club - Every time I watch it I notice something different.
I'm not sure about the last one, but I could watch it again and again. If this were the only four films I could ever watch ever again, I may have to rethink the list.
Four places I have lived
1. Hope, Canada - Or more precisely, Sunshine Valley. An absolutely gorgeous place, filled with friendly people, I loved Canada, and I want to go back as soon as possible.
2. Episkopi, Cyprus - While it was good for holidays there wasn't much to do when you lived there for a year, and I wasn't old enough to appreciate the nightlife. But I did lose a lot of weight swimming every day for a year.
3. Paderborn, Germany - Another very nice place to live, a very big and environmentally conscious country, with big forests to walk in and hills to climb. And holidays were always fun as we would camp or go skiing.
4. Calshot, Southampton, England - Right near the beach at Southampton, you can see the Isle of Wight. Good to play on and catch Hermit Crabs.
Four TV Shows I love
1. Lost - Brilliant, simply brilliant.
2. House - Also fantastic, the character of House is one of the best I've seen in a long while and Hugh Laurie is soooo good.
3. CSI/CSI:NY - Don't mention CSI:Miami, Heratio Caine is a dick, I hate him with a passion.
4. My Name is Earl - Unfortunately on friday night, so I often forget to tape it.
Four Places I have Holidayed
1. Cairo, Egypt - Nice buildings, the Pyramids were cool, shame about the people trying to sell you stuff all the time.
2. Orlando, Florida - Home of DisneyLand, SeaWorld and many other attractions.
3. Banff, Canada - The Skiing and scenery was awesome
4. Garmisch-Partenkirken, Germany - Once again great skiing and scenery, but staying in a caravan in 3 feet of snow and freezing temperatures adds to the 'Family Feel' of the holiday.
Four of my favourite dishes
1. Sunday Roast - Every Sunday my mum cooks a roast, and it's always good.
2. A Fry Up - Nothing quite says 'Heart Attack' like a fry up after a heavy nights drinking.
3. BBQ - Anything on our BBQ at home, it tastes better and always comes with Potato Salad, that I could eat a bucket of.
4. Bangers and Mash - Childhood favourite, but has to have baked beans, not gravy
The last one was tough, I could've mentioned Goat, Lamb, Chinese, Curry, Steak or anything like that. Bangers 'n Mash was the first that came to mind though.
Four sites I visit Daily
1. The LSN Forums - More like hourly
2. IGN.com
3. Used Hack
4. Dooce
Four places I would rather be right now
1. In my new house, with Viv, watching TV and smoking a joint.
2. Skiing in Canada, prefferably at Whistler.
3. In bed, with Viv.
4. On holiday, not sure where, a beach somewhere possibly
